Michelle Von Der Heyde is the Founder & CEO of MindRefined, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse based in Miami, Florida, with advanced certifications as a Family, Oncology, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. A graduate of the University of Miami with multiple degrees, she is currently a fellow in the DukeHealth Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneurship Program. At her practice, Michelle leverages her extensive experience in hematology/oncology and psychiatry to provide inclusive, compassionate, and comprehensive care. She is a passionate advocate for advancing mental health through precision medicine, integrating genomics to tailor treatments to each patient's unique genetic makeup, environment, and lifestyle. As a dedicated member of the AANP and APNA, Michelle’s visionary leadership continues to drive innovation in healthcare, ensuring every individual receives effective, targeted therapies uniquely suited to their needs.

Steven Marquez co-founded MindRefined with over two decades of experience as a technology strategist, security researcher, and operational leader. As COO, he brings a rare blend of deep technical expertise and proven executive strategy, responsible for building the company's operational framework, managing strategic risk, and scaling its innovative data solutions.
His career has been shaped by securing and architecting some of the nation's most complex environments, including an organization with an annual budget exceeding $7 billion, a scale comparable to that of a Fortune 500 enterprise. His initiatives have been pivotal in driving large-scale secure cloud migrations, deploying enterprise-wide SIEM solutions, and collaborating with legal departments to author data-sharing agreements and manage third-party risk experience that directly informs MindRefined's corporate governance and operational integrity.
Steven's leadership is built on a foundation of deep, hands-on research. His independent investigations have uncovered critical vulnerabilities across the technology spectrum, from billion-dollar SaaS platforms and enterprise IoT to the Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and SCADA environments that manage critical infrastructure. This unique ability to deconstruct complex systems and investigate insider threats has made him a trusted liaison for federal law enforcement, including the FBI and Secret Service, in complex criminal investigations.
