How telehealth psychiatry works
Telehealth (also called telepsychiatry) lets you meet your provider over secure, private video — no commute, no waiting room. You'll have a full conversation about your history, symptoms, and goals, just like an in-office visit. From there, Michelle builds a plan with you, including evaluation and ongoing medication management, with follow-ups scheduled around your life.
What we treat by telehealth
- ADHD — adult assessment and treatment
- Anxiety — including high-functioning anxiety
- Depression
Available everywhere in Florida
If you're located in Florida, you can be seen — including Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville , and everywhere in between. For patients near Miami who prefer face-to-face care, we offer in-person visits at our Coral Way office .

Frequently asked questions
Is telehealth psychiatry as effective as in-person?
For evaluation and medication management of conditions like ADHD, anxiety, and depression, research shows telehealth psychiatry can be just as effective as in-office care for most patients — with the added benefit of convenience and consistency.
Can a psychiatric nurse practitioner prescribe medication?
Yes. Michelle is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and can evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medication as part of your treatment plan.
Can you prescribe all medications by telehealth?
Most psychiatric medications can be managed by telehealth. Certain medications — including some controlled substances — may require an in-person visit under state and federal rules. Because we also offer in-office visits in Miami, we can accommodate this when it applies. Your plan is always individualized to what's clinically appropriate and compliant.
Does insurance cover telehealth psychiatry in Florida?
Yes — telehealth visits are billed through your insurance just like in-office visits. We're in-network with major plans and verify your benefits before your first appointment.
Which parts of Florida do you serve?
All of Florida. As long as you're physically in the state at the time of your visit, you can be seen by secure video.
